San Diego Restaurant Networking Group was born out of a conversation among passionate restaurant industry professionals 18 years ago. Our mission is to better connect and foster collaboration between industry members. SDRNG’s exclusive collective of restaurant suppliers meet monthly at various locations throughout San Diego County to discuss industry dynamics, new openings, expansions, chef changes, and closures. We select the venues from our members’ clientele as a thank for their valued service. With one representative per company, our commitment to exclusivity ensures each member’s distinct presence in our collaborative community.

As one of the founders, myself and two of my networking partners attended the first Networking lunch in January 2006 at J-Six Restaurant at Hotel Solidarity in the Gaslamp. Since then, I’ve been helping to choose lunch locations and moderating our Networking Lunch meetings.
This April 2024, I will celebrate 43 years working in Sales for Newport Meat Co.
I have enjoyed helping to train, and mentor other Sales Representatives for Newport Meat as well as building out my very impressive portfolio.
As a side hustle and something that will help some of my current clients, I have taken on a new opportunity in Sales with the Smart Valve. Our goal is to help large commercial buildings and Golf Course owners save money on their water bills.

For nearly 20 years, New Leaf Biofuel has specialized in Waste Fryer Oil Management in SD County. We provide free Sensor Monitored Disposal Units to restaurants, compensating them with top dollar rebates for their old kitchen oil. Each gallon collected is converted to biodiesel, burning 80% cleaner than traditional diesel. Our recycling service has produced 30 million gallons, reducing carbon footprint equivalent to removing 80,415 gas vehicles annually!
